Useless and inaccurate

This looked like it has some fun possiblities, but it has become a waste of $2.00. Nearly impossible to trace a "route" with your finger. In order to get a useable tracing of a route you have to blow up the map so large that only small portions of a route shows (half the screen is taken by the "elevation" graphic) In order to continue the route you must tap out of the route mode and into the move-map mode which can require dozens and dozens of in & out taps to complete even the shortest routes. And ... now about accuracy. Was no where's near accurate when I retraced a regular ride route (which has been validated with a Garmin application)... In addition, tracing a route along the coastline (where the elevation is zero -sea level) yielded elevation GAINS !!!... for #$%@% sake... the route was over WATER.... there is no elevation gain over a sea level of zero!

Great app at a reasonable price.
Does what it claims to do. Draw a route and it calculates distance , changes in elevation, and grade. Would be nice if it had logic to follow roads, but it is nice to be able to freehand the route.
It's OK, has a lot of potential

It's nice to draw with your finger, but a little unprecise sometimes (the finger, not the app). As another reviewer wrote, it would be very nice if somehow it had logic to follow the roads: so the info of the route would be a lot more precise. But... who really needs milimetric precision when riding a bike for fun? This app charts the elevation and distance of the route you draw based on Google's map.
For the developer: please allow the user to store the graphs!!! Not only to export the route to google earth, but to store them and the functionality of the graph somewhere in the app in the iPad!!! Please!!!!!
It would be very helpful also to have horizontal guide lines with the altitude in the graph.... And also vertical guide lines for the distance. And to be able to navigate the map in terrain mode.
And finally, it would be very nice if the user were able to augment the horizontal/vertical ratio of the graph.
